1. Information We Collect

We do not require accounts or registrations to use AI Font Finder. We do, however, collect a small amount of operational and analytics data described in this policy.

2. Image Processing

When you upload an image to identify a font, the image is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our server, which forwards it to the OpenAI API for analysis. We do not persist your image to a database or long-term storage. The image is held only in memory for the duration of the analysis (typically a few seconds) and then discarded.

OpenAI may retain inputs to its API for a limited period for abuse monitoring; please review the OpenAI Privacy Policy and the OpenAI API data usage policy for details. By default, content submitted via the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI models.

3. Analytics & Tracking

We use third-party analytics to understand aggregate site usage and to improve the product:

• Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization enabled) for page-view and interaction metrics.
• Ahrefs Web Analytics for cookieless visit attribution and SEO insights.

These services may set cookies or use local storage to function. You can block them with your browser's tracker-blocking features or with an extension such as uBlock Origin.

4. Rate Limiting & Abuse Prevention

To prevent abuse of the AI service, we apply per-IP rate limits. We process your IP address transiently in memory for this purpose and do not store it.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. Third-party analytics services (above) may set their own cookies.

6. Children's Privacy

AI Font Finder is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) you may have rights to access, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we do not maintain user accounts or retain images, most data subject requests are limited to the analytics data described above; please contact us with any questions.
